GRADUATION
La graduation est la cérémonie de remise des diplômes universitaires. C'est un événement important, où les étudiants, revêtus de leur toge et de leur toque noires, reçoivent officiellement leur diplôme des mains du recteur. Les familles assistent à la cérémonie et les photos prises à cette occasion occupent généralement une place d'honneur dans les intérieurs anglo-saxons.
Aux États-Unis, le terme désigne aussi la cérémonie qui marque la fin des études secondaires.
